Crestline Hotels & Resorts Appoints Amy Chen General Manager for the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Detroit

Detroit, MI, March 2, 2007- Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. today announced the appointment of Amy Chen as General Manager for the 198 guestroom Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Detroit’s historic Harmonie Park.  The hotel is managed by Crestline Hotels & Resorts.  It is located just one block from Comerica Park, the Detroit Tigers’ Stadium; Ford Field, the Detroit Lions’ Stadium and Compuware’s corporate headquarters.  It is also within walking distance to the Detroit Opera House, the Greektown Casino and in close proximity to many restaurants.  The hotel, which opened in 2004, was the first new hotel to be built in downtown Detroit in 12 years. 

Ms. Chen joins Crestline Hotels & Resorts from a six year career with Innkeepers Hospitality where she was general manager for several Residence Inn by Marriott hotels in Troy and Livonia MI, as well as Indianapolis, IN.  Ms. Chen brings more than 10 years of experience in hospitality industry management, as well as property management, to her new role.  She has also held positions with The Holiday Inn Mishawaka, IN and the Courtyard by Marriott in Goshen, IN.
